The $16.6m Cairnsfoot School Relocation project for the NSW Department of Education and Communities at Brighton Le Sands is commencing. Cairnsfoot School is a special needs school currently located in nearby Arncliffe in Sydneys St George region. The project includes seven new single storey buildings with seventeen classrooms in four blocks, a Library, Multipurpose Hall, Administration, Hydrotherapy Pool, Covered Outdoor Learning Areas and extensive external works. The four classroom buildings and the Administration Building are being constructed using state of the art modular building techniques and will be assembled in a factory and transported to the site.
