Durack Fire Station, Queensland

Project Coordination’s Queensland operation has recently been awarded the contract to construct a new Fire Station for Emergency Services located at Durack, a southern suburb of Brisbane.

The new facility is part of an overall upgrade of suburban Fire Stations by the Queensland Government.

The single storey building will be constructed of masonry walls, timber roof trusses and metal deck roof.

A new carpark and hardstand area with access road to the building will also be constructed as part of the works.

This is the Company’s second project with for Queensland Fire and Rescue Service, having already completed a training facility at Whyte Island.

The project is due for completion in December 2006.  Project value $2.0m
