Project Coordination attended the official opening and blessing of the Stage 3 building works at Emmaus College Jimboomba on the 16 June 2006.

The College was officially opened by John Bathersby (Catholic Archbishop of Brisbane), Phillip Aspinall (Anglican Archbishop of Brisbane) Pastor Timothy Jaensch (President of the Lutheran Church of Australia) and the Reverend Dr David Pitman (Moderator of the Uniting Church of Australia)

The project was jointly funded by the three church denominations and also with Federal Government assistance. The College P & C also contributed significantly to the development.

The College now has a new Administration Building which also includes the Principals office and Administration Staff. A new Industrial Arts and Home Science Building has also been completed.
