Gungahlin Salvation Army Church

The Gungahlin Salvation Army Church project will form the headquarters for the Salvation Army in Canberra and will include a church, cry room, ante room, reception area, meeting rooms, welfare offices as well as a play area and a 52 space carpark.
The building has been designed by the award winning Architects Ring and Associates and is predominately rendered brick veneer with Alucobond feature cladding, feature entrances, pop up skylights and blade fin walls to add appeal to the external facade. The structure will be a mix of structural steel and timber frames and trusses.
The project has commenced at the end of July 2012 and is expected to be completed within 10 months.
