Construction of new facilities at three schools in the Wollongong area commenced in April 2012. The project includes a new building for metalwork at Illawarra Sports High, new hospitality and metalwork facilities at Figtree HS, including a covered outdoor learning area, and new hospitality and woodwork facilities at Warrawong HS. Works at Warrawong also include the installation of a new substation for the school. The project is valued at $2.6m and due for completion in September 2012.
