The official opening of the Stage 7 Middle School took place on the 20 May 2006 at Rivermount College Yatala Campus.

The new facility was opened by the Hon Minister Margaret Keech, Colin Young founding Principal, and large gathering of staff, students and the public.

The College celebrated its 15 th year of operation since the campus was established.

The new facility will compliment the existing teaching facilities and meets the growing requirements of the college and community with respect to the middle school age group.
