It has been 5 years since we completed construction of the Gungahlin facility for the Eastlake Football Club. The club includes a bistro, commercial kitchen, public bar, sports bar, gaming area and multiple function rooms.

All areas were constructed using complex, high-end materials including hand folded zinc linings on exterior walls, reclaimed brickwork and longline metal cladding. The building is fitted with acoustic walls throughout, in particular the function rooms, to ensure the acoustics are concentrated to the areas in which the event is occurring. 

Client savings were achieved by the introduction of a post-tensioned slab to the suspended ground floor. This meant the total volume of excavation required was significantly reduced, resulting in significant savings for the Client.

The Eastlake Club, Gungahlin received a Judges Commendation in the 2019 Master Builders Excellence in Building Awards, in the Commercial Building $5-$20m category.
