The Company has been awarded the contract to refurbish four lecture theatres in two existing buildings at the University’s St Lucia Campus.

The Company will demolish and strip out each lecture theatre and provide new floor coverings, seating, joinery and a services upgrade.

There is also some external works to one of the lecture theatres which involves the installation of precast wall panels, concrete topping and soft landscaping to the entry of the lecture theatre. A large section of the existing roof will be removed and replaced to achieve a higher pitch roof to eliminate water leaks that have occurred in the past.

There is a six week lead time for the procurement of all materials and equipment required as on site time will be minimal.

The on site works will commence in June and the lecture theatres have to be completed in July in readiness for the commencement of the second semester teaching period.
