Construction is underway on the new “T4” Plumbing Technology Facility at the TAFE NSW Institue at the Wagga Wagga Campus for the NSW Department of Commerce.

The project which is being carried out by the NSW Division commenced in July 2007 and includes the construction of a new 1300m2 building which when completed will predominately accommodate plumbing trades with workshop facilities, practical drainage yard, staff and student amenities, teacher offices, trade tool and plumbing materials storeroom and general purpose classrooms.

The facility that is located on the eastern campus will also have a new access and delivery road including a new driveway entry from Coleman St to a new 20 space car park plus landscaping pathways.

Upon occupation of the “T4” facility the space povided by the Plumbing School in the existing Block A will see the commencement of refurbishment works to provide accomodation to Community Services and General Education programmes. Areas in the Building A refurbishment will provide for a Nursing Clinical Laboratory, general purpose classrooms, teachers offices, staff amenities and storeroom.
