The project involved the construction of a single storey “T’” shaped structure.  The buildings function is to accommodate a library, education access centre and TAFE under the one roof. The building was constructed on sand with deep beam footings, steel studs, suspended waffle slabs and a brick veneer finish.  The building called for a high level of IT installation.

The ceiling consisted of a curved perforated ceiling that involved inverting the web truss.
