In 1975, the original company constructing this project went into liquidation.  The project was still in its structural stage.  Shortly before this, Project Coordination had been founded and was subsequently appointed as Project Manager by the National Capital Development Commission to complete the project.  This was the very first project to be delivered under this form of contract in the ACT.

The project consisted of a 1500 seat auditorium, teaching rooms, lecture theatres, dance studios and administration offices.  

This was one of the first public buildings in the ACT to use “off-form” concrete virtually throughout.  The Company was responsible for supervising this very complex upper structure to a high level of enduring finish.
