The project included 2 stages of works, stage 1 involved the construction of a new Transformer bay to house the new transformer; works also included the extending of switch yard, security fencing, earthing grid and new concrete driveway sections. Stage 2 work consisted of the demolition of the old existing Transformer bay and replace with concrete to blend in with the existing driveway. The Transformer Bay structure consists of reinforced concrete slab and bund wall, the blast walls are constructed from precast panels and finished with metal cladding at high level and durable painting to blend with its suburban surrounds.
