The brief was to construct an outdoor dining area in order to cater for Club patrons who smoke.  The work involved the construction of a covered area surrounded by a tiled block wall with metal screening overhead.  A large sail is supported by a structural steel frame, which has columns set at an angle, attached to which are large up-lights positioned to shine onto the sail and reflect down to the floor, providing an even level of lighting to the area.

Imported tiles were used for decorative flooring which is heated by a network of under-floor pipes carrying hot water from boilers.
