The project involved the amalgamation of the Timber Trades Workshops and the replacement of the dust extraction system for Blocks C & D. Existing machinery was relocated to suit a more structured layout. New facilities include new lobby, CAD and CAM lecture rooms, new job and material stores and call off room. The buildings have undergone a complete electrical upgrade, existing ductwork was modified where possible and fire services were upgraded to the 2 buildings as well as a new hydrant booster at the boundary.

The replacement of the existing dust extractor units with environmentally friendly lower decibel rates units helped achieve the overall project brief to reduce noise levels at the boundary.

A cladded façade was introduced to minimise the intrusion of the industrial dust extraction system to neighbouring boundaries.
