In a landmark project for the Illawarra area, The International Buddhist Association of Australia has created a link between the Nan Tien Temple and Nan Tien Institute located on opposite sides of the Princes Highway motorway.

Project Coordination was selected to undertake the $9.6m project which included the construction of an 8m wide pedestrian bridge across theM1 motorway, podium area, retail space, donation wall and associated landscaping at the temple entry as well as a refurbishment of the temple teahouse.

The Nan Tien Temple remained open throughout the project as well as minimal effects to the M1 Motorway.
