Refurbishment included restoration of the timber wall panels, sanding and refinishing of the parquetry floor, installation of a sunscreen to the skylight and construction of new speaker boxes.  The famous Arthur Boyd tapestry was removed for cleaning by conservators.  A major upgrade of data, electrical, lighting and sound system were also undertaken.

The removal and rehanging of the Arthur Boyd Tapestry was undertaken to allow future removal to be carried out more easily.   

The installation of retractable motorised lighting bars enables more efficient use of the Hall for functions.
