This project entailed the refurbishment of the existing depot Stores Building and construction of a new Mechanical Workshop, Wash-bay, Truck Parking and Transformer Store areas.

The new 1,200m2 Workshop rates as one of Integral Energy’s most energy efficient buildings, incorporating LED and natural lighting, in-floor heating, sub floor insulation, natural roof ventilation, and rainwater re-use for wash-bay and amenity services.

In addition, the project provided over 2000m2 of additional staff car and truck parking, and a 6m high wash-bay suitable for servicing Integral Energy access tower trucks with UV treated rainwater from an underground 60,000L holding tank.

All non-essential services are run through the new workshop’s C-bus system, allowing continuous monitoring of the facilities power consumption, automatic adjustment of lighting levels and temperature limits for floor heating / air conditioning services.
