The project consisted of a complete internal refurbishment to the accommodation barracks D78 at the Royal Military College.  The works included the refurbishment of all existing rooms including floor coverings and rendering to the brickwork, the removal of existing structural walls to form common areas and the installation of new services.

Existing wet areas were stripped and redesigned as unisex facilities in accordance with the Disability Code.

A new electrical switchboard was installed to meet current Australian Standards. Insulation was then pumped into the blocks through holes drilled into the walls.

In the initial design brief the existing wardrobes were to be refurbished.  Project Coordination successfully negotiated a proposal to replace all the existing wardrobes with new ones at no extra cost to the client.
