This project involved the construction of a 400sqm snow clearing depot for the RTA following extensive decontamination of the site after demolition of the existing works building.  Works included piers, raft, concrete slab and a portal frame.  Special features included stand alone recycling facilities for trade and sceptic waste and fire suppression systems covering the roof structure backed up by a generator system.

INNOVATION:

 The geotechnical nature of the site uncovered numerous tonnes of floating boulders which were then strategically placed to enhance the aesthetics of the building and surrounding environment.
A formwork system was created to enable slabs to be poured alternatively with integral bonding.
