The two storey addition to the existing Science Centre involved the construction of several workshops, amenities and staff areas, shop addition, mezzanine storage areas and external storage areas. Several construction techniques were used including grout filled screw pile, ultrafloor, reinforced concrete columns and suspended slab and structural steel framework.
