The project involved a total refurbishment of the existing Metal Fabrication Workshop. This included complete demolition of all interior structures and removal of roofing and windows. The refurbishment included the extension of the roof structure, increasing the overall height and design of the building. The existing structural steel has been left visible within the building. New facilities included new reception and office areas, amenities, lecture and call off rooms, grinding and forming rooms as well as new welding bays. The building underwent a complete mechanical, hydraulic and electrical upgrade.
