This project involved the conversion of an IGA supermarket into a Woolworths Supermarket during a tight four week construction period.  The existing entry point remained, but the entire layout of the supermarket changed to suit the Woolworths standard.

Demolition included floor finishes, ceilings, walls, services.  New in slab hydraulics were installed to suit the new fridges, freezers and cool room’s layout.  New works included the creation of the deli and cool room, fruit and veg, checkout area, liquor store and cool room.  New administration offices, staff amenities and storage areas were created on the mezzanine floor.

Two shifts were required working days and nights to complete this project.
